Lil’ Kidneys in 2022
Lil’ Kidneys entered its second year of fundraising in July 2022.
Our goal
to support paediatric kidney disease in the Ottawa area through various fundraising and awareness projects.
Our primary project in 2022
to raise funds for the purchase of a new plasma exchange machine for CHEO.
our fundraising efforts included: soap sales, direct donations, Lil’ Kidneys’ 2nd annual holiday auction and Lil’ Kidneys 1st Cake fundraiser.
Our secondary project in 2022
to provide local pediatric hemodialysis patients with a dialysis care package during March (Kidney Month) .
four care packages were delivered to CHEO .
Holiday Auction in November
The auction raised a total of $5,259.55, including a generous matching donation of $2,500 by Fallowfield Pharmasave.
We received donated items and services from 37 businesses and individuals.

Looking to 2023
Lil’ Kidneys is planning to work towards creating resources and awareness of paediatric kidney disease and its impact on families in the Ottawa area by:
finding small ways to support families dealing with paediatric kidney disease,
continuing to provide local families with care packages and increase capacity,
continuing to raise funds for the purchase of a plasma exchange machine for CHEO,
continuing to build the capacity of the annual holiday auction to create awareness and raise funds towards our goals, and
launching new products to support fundraising efforts.
